HO CHI MINH COMMUNIST YOUTH UNION – HONG BANG INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

In 1997, implementing the policy of educational socialization, Hong Bang Private University was established by the Prime Minister. Right from the first days of establishment, due to functional and missionary aspects of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, administrators of HIU set up, prepared plans and necessary conditions applying to the Youth Union for permission to establish a grassroots union at the University on December 28, 1998.

About the organizational structure:
-The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hong Bang International University is the equivalent of the District level, under the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

-Total number of Union members (as of January 2020): 3786 Union members

– Number of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of faculties: 14

– Number of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of classes: 126

2020 is the first year of the 2020-2022 term (term VIII). For many years, the HIU’s Youth Union has always achieved excellent results in the region. In 2013, the Youth Union was honored to receive the Third-class Labor Medal from the President with excellent achievements in work from 2007 to 2013,  contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

VIETNAMESE STUDENT ASSOCIATION – HONG BANG INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

The Student Union of Hong Bang Private University was appointed a provisional Executive Committee under the Decision No. 52/QD – HSV dated December 31, 2001 of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Union and approved by The Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association for recognizing the organization of the Student Union of Hong Bang University in Decision No. 61/QD – TUHSV dated December 3, 2003, signed by Mr. Lam Phuong Thanh Standing Vice President on May 29, 2006. On November 2009, Hong Bang University’s Student Union was renamed by its superiors to Hong Bang International University Student Association.

The Student Union of Hong Bang International University, is a socio-political organization of students of Hong Bang International University, operating under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the operation orientation of the Standing Committee. School Union Service. The school’s Vietnamese Students’ Association is the organization that organizes volunteering, cultural and artistic activities, and honors the school’s Student of the “5-good” merits.

Currently, the school has 5790 members, including 14 branches of the Faculty Association, 12 clubs affiliated to the school level; Number of branches of the Association under the branch of the Faculty: 126 Vietnamese Students’ Association of classes and 34 clubs. The Student Union Executive Committee currently has 23 members: 01 Chairman, 02 Vice Presidents, 4 members of the Secretariat and 16 members of the Executive Committee.

After 6 terms with many achievements and efforts in activities, in 2020 the Student Union of the University entered the term of 2020 – 2023, marking many innovations in activities.
